The Government are at it again.  After decriminalising criminality in order to reduce the crime figures - 'Tough on Crime', 'Tough on the Victims of Crime', they are now making a U-turn on their drugs policy.

Seems that making the stuff legal encouraged more users which meant more people had to commit crime in order to fill their habits [no brainer! - Ed].

So if the Government have unwittingly helped you to become addicted to drugs, because of their prior leniency, then contact a solicitor who may be able to pursue a claim for you.  Obviously since descending into crime to feed your habit you are probably skint.  Good news then, you will get legal aid to help you get redress through the Courts.
