Will Cameron end up leaning to the
right? |
David Cameron,
Tory new kid on the block, was elected as Conservative leader after
trouncing David Davis. Labour were
quick to respond with one Marxist, leftist saying "Gordon and John will
have DC for breakfast, with perhaps a little left over for lunch".
With such a landslide win DC can move
the party in the direction he wishes. Most Tory insiders fully
support DC, although there is a noticeable silence from the grandees and
blue rinse brigade. |
| It
is believed this section of the party feel they could be marginalised
due to their increasing age. Blair
meanwhile has instructed his camp to make him appear younger, and is
said to be surrounding himself with geriatric labour supporters whenever
he is due to appear in public. A makeover including hair
replacement/darkening plus the addition of teak oil to his normal make
up should stem the tide of advancing years.
The Lib Dems refused to comment on ageism
in politics and would instead concentrate on the ginger vote, a tactic
that proved disastrous for Labour in times past. |
