Snowboarding in Scotland
By Ben Nervous

Snowbaording Calamity

With the advent of global warming and mega changes in weather systems, it is now possible to enjoy winter sports all year around.

The second round of the Snowboard European Cup will be held in the highlands.  Unfortunately, British hopeful Hamish McCallum-McKenna, the 2004 ladies champion, was separated from her snowboard during practice (see left).

Paramedics were quickly on the scene and revived her with a battered Snicker and hot toddy.

2004 was the worst year in the sports history for injuries, falls, and general poor boarding.  Irish champion Micky Finn put it down to being slippy out there.

Men's current champion Tommy Thomass Thomassen, from Finland, believes this season will be much improved with "everybody getting their shit together".
